ONLINE CONCERT - A Medieval & Renaissance Showcase

ONLINE CONCERT - A Medieval & Renaissance Showcase

Specialist early-music performers: 'Lumina Vocal' and 'Lyrebyrd Consort' team up with 'Curiosity' show presenter Dr Rob Morrison to introduce a range of early instruments and music in two stunning Adelaide venues.

Have you ever heard a crumhorn? Or even a consort of crumhorns?

Can you tell the difference between a rebec and vielle? Have you ever heard the smallest type of recorder? Or one of the largest?

How about a cornemuse, oud or kantelle?

Hear and see them all being played as part of our showcase in the Barr Smith Library Reading Room at Adelaide University and St Oswald's Church, Parkside.

Filmed during live performances at this year's Adelaide Fringe Festival.

There are 40 instruments, 16 singers, 2 venues and 1 presenter with curiosity.
